Delete account

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. On the home screen, tap the person icon at the top left. Your profile opens.
3. Scroll all the way down and tap Delete account.
4. In the dialog, tap Delete permanently.

If the app asks for a fresh sign-in, sign out, sign in again and confirm the deletion once more. After the deletion you are signed out.

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. On the home screen, tap the person icon at the top left, or open your Profile from the More tab (+).
3. Scroll all the way down and tap Delete account.
4. Press and hold Delete permanently for 5 seconds.
5. Confirm with your Apple account, your Google account or your password, depending on how you sign in to Gearstack.

Send an email from your account email address to privacy@gearstacklabs.com with the subject “Delete account”. We delete your account and reply within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).

When you delete your account, Gearstack removes account-linked data from the active systems we control. This includes:

• account data: name and email address
• health and app data
• your saved entries, for example chat, meal, scan and workout entries

• Backups and logs: Technically necessary backups or logs may remain until scheduled overwrite or for as long as legally required.
• Cloud AI: Under the then-current service terms and selected service configuration, Google Cloud may log requests, responses, or technical metadata for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.
• Anonymized analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics standard).
• Device shop orders: We delete order data once it is no longer needed for processing, warranty and statutory obligations.

You cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store in the store’s subscription settings. It keeps running there until you cancel it, also after your account is deleted.
